Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-11-02

1. Who we are and what this covers

These terms govern your use of this platform and of the services you buy through it. By creating an account or placing an order you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. What the service does

We collect the information a U.S. state requires to register a company, prepare the filing, and submit it through a registered provider. We keep you informed of the status of each step, store the resulting documents in your account, and coordinate the related services you purchase, such as a registered agent or an EIN application.

3. What the service is not

We are not a law firm, we are not a tax adviser, and we do not provide legal or tax advice. Nothing on this platform is a recommendation about which company type, which state, or which tax treatment is right for you. Any explanatory content we publish is general information, not advice about your situation. For a decision that depends on your circumstances, consult a qualified professional.

4. Your account and the accuracy of your information

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you give us — names, dates of birth, addresses, ownership percentages and the identity of the responsible party. A filing is rejected, or a company is registered incorrectly, when the information behind it is wrong. You are also responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity carried out through your account.

5. Prices, government fees and payment

Every price is shown in full before payment, as a single total covering our service and every fee involved in the filing, and you review that total before any charge is made. Government fees are set by the states and can change without notice; when that happens, the price shown at the moment of your purchase is the one that applies. Recurring costs, such as registered agent renewal and any annual state obligation, are stated before checkout and never charged in silence.

6. Timelines and outcomes we do not control

We do not control how long a state takes to process a filing, nor whether it approves a company name. We do not control the IRS, and we cannot guarantee that an EIN is issued within any particular period. We do not control whether a bank opens an account for your company; where we refer you to one, that is a referral and never a guarantee of approval. Any timeframe we mention is an expectation based on experience, never a promise.

7. Identity verification and refusal of service

Before a company is filed we verify the identity of the people behind it, which may include checking identity documents and screening against sanctions and similar lists. We may refuse or discontinue service where verification fails, where the information given is inconsistent, or where proceeding would be unlawful. Where we refuse for a legal reason, we may be unable to explain the detail of it.

8. Third parties we work with

Parts of the service are performed by third parties: the provider that submits the filing to the state, the registered agent, the payment processor, and the identity-verification provider. We choose and coordinate them, and remain your point of contact. Their own failures, delays or decisions are not always within our control.

9. Cancellation and refunds

Before a filing is submitted you may cancel and we refund what has not yet been spent on your behalf. Once a government fee has been paid to a state it follows that states own rules — it is frequently non-refundable, and where a name is rejected it is often retained as credit rather than returned. Our own fee covers work already performed and is not refunded once the filing has been prepared and submitted.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top. Where a change materially affects an order already under way, the terms accepted at the time of that order continue to apply to it.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to the support address published in the footer of this site.
